US Spring Show - Once Upon a Mattress



Country Day presents its spring musical production of ONCE UPON A MATTRESS. This hilarious spoof of “The Princess and the Pea” runs March 16-25, 2024 in Weinmann Auditorium. Tickets are $10.00 online here or at the door, with online student discounts available.

This classic musical premiered on Broadway in 1959, starring Carol Burnett, and ran for nearly 500 performances. It has been filmed three times for television and was revived on Broadway in 1996, starring Sarah Jessica Parker. Our production features student actors Charlie Antis ‘25, Minnie Mae August ’24, Emmy Casey ‘26, Dante DiCianni ’25, Finley Friedman ‘26, Will Heath ’25, Iskra Jurkovic ‘27, Nicole Kazour ’24, Mason Kwon ‘24, Clovis Layrisson ‘25, Mireille Luparello ’26, Gianna Margan ‘27, Julia Mueller ’24, Xander Roniger ‘25, Magdalena St. Louis ’26, Daisy Schulte ‘24, Henry Thompson ’25, Cooper Velie ‘25, Caroline Weinmann ’27, and Sophie Wyatt ‘24, with stage management by Jane Thompson ’24, and technical support by Cole Devenport ’25, Julia Drago ‘24, Gavin Ferrand ’25, Charlotte Green ‘24, Chloe Jones ’25, Ruth Katz ‘27, Sophia LeBoeuf ’27, Harry Odem ‘25, and Max Pollock ’25. 
*There are some mild references to “The Birds and the Bees," but Once Upon a Mattress is really silly fun for the whole family.
