Dads' Club
Calling all CD Dads!
It's a Great Time at Country Day!
Our entire athletic program is thriving, and the Dads' Club is integral to its success. Country Day is one of the few schools where all students can participate in the athletic program. The Country Day student is involved in athletics, from P.E. class in the first grade to lettering in a high school sport. Our athletic programs generate pride, loyalty, and enthusiasm for the School and the student body. This school spirit fostered by athletics is a cornerstone of our children's experience and makes their years at Country Day meaningful and enjoyable.
About Dads' Club
The Dads' Club enhances the athletic department with your support and volunteers to work at Country Day athletic events. We sponsor a faculty-parent barbeque, produce an annual golf tournament, and host various events before and after many of the School's athletic events. Money raised from Dads' Club donations helps fund specific athletic department needs.
Below are a few examples of how the Dads' Club has assisted the athletic department:
- New bus for all athletes for event travel
- New volleyball nets
- Weight room equipment
- New sound system for the gym
- Basketball training equipment
- Water hydration system
- Baseball and softball pitching machine
- Digital camera equipment to film games and events
- New soccer goals
- Cross country team equipment
- Official scorers table for basketball and volleyball
- Outdoor basketball goal
- Paint machine to stripe the athletic field
