Exclusive Community Screening: Join Us for a Viewing of Join or Die, a Documentary Unveiling the Power of Community through Sociologist Robert D. Putnam's Work

Join or Die is a new documentary directed by Rebecca and Pete Davis that follows the career of Harvard sociologist Robert D. Putnam. Best known for his 2000 book Bowling Alone and its concept of social capital, Putnam's work stresses the importance of belonging to communities beyond just family and work. The documentary introduces Putnam's work to a new generation and encourages civic engagement through the growth of the community. Metairie Park Country Day School is excited to provide this community screening of the film in advance of its wide release.

Doors to Weinmann Auditorium will open at 6:30 pm for the 6:45 pm showing.
