  • Baseball Camp: June 4-8, Ages 7-14

    DEFENSIVE DRILLS
    HITTING FUNDAMENTALS
    CATCHING & THROWING SKILLS
    BASERUNNING
    HOME RUN DERBY AND REGULAR BASEBALL GAMES

    OFFENSIVE GOALS: Campers will go through a variety of offensive stations including live hitting, tee and soft toss drills, speed and agility, and baserunning drills.

    DEFENSIVE GOALS: Campers will work on the proper mechanics for throwing and catching. Defensive game strategies and rules will be covered daily.

  • Basketball Camp: May 28-June 1 and/or June 4-8, Ages 7-14, 1st -8th Grade

    Enjoy the 2018 COUNTRY DAY BASKETBALL CAMP at the home of the 2009, 2013, 2014, 2017 State Champions!!

    Session I: May 28 - June 1, 2:30-5:00 pm 
     
    Session II: June 4 - June 8, 9:00 am-11:30 pm
      
    Cost: $135.00 - includes camp basketball
    *Conducted in the Patrick Gymnasium at Country Day. 
    *Air Conditioned Gym 
    *Low camper to Coach Ratio 
    *Strict Instruction in Fundamentals 
    *Shooting Drills and Games
     
    Players will enjoy 3 on 3, 5 on 5, and other Team Competitions
      
    Each player will be taught, observed, and corrected in the fundamentals of basketball. All campers will be age and ability grouped. Campers will be involved in more scrimmage sessions because of limited numbers.
      
    COST: $135.00 - Includes camp basketball.

  • (NOW FULL) Country Day Creative Arts: June 11 - July 13, Ages 7-14

    This program is now fully enrolled!

    For thirty-six years, Country Day Creative Arts has transformed children’s lives. Boys and girls, ages 7-14, select five classes from over thirty choices in the visual arts, performing arts, and sports. In an environment of mutual respect, professional artists from New Orleans and from around the country guide the natural talents in each young artist to new heights of individual creativity, affirmation, and pride. Registration is now full!

  • All Skills Volleyball Camp: July 23-27, Ages 7-15

    All-skills camps are designed to improve the fundamental skills of volleyball: serving, passing, setting, attacking, blocking and individual defense. In addition, full day campers will work on team defense and offensive systems and compete in the afternoons.

  • Football Camp: July 16-20, Ages 7-14

    Learn the fundamentals of football from Head Coach Joe Chango and the rest of the varsity staff. The camp will consist of drill periods covering both offensive and defensive positional skills. As well as competitive games and challenges through the entire camp. This is a great way to jump-start your training for the Fall season.   • Summer Academy for Incoming Freshmen: August 6-10

    Country Day Summer Academy 2018

    The 9th Grade Faculty will offer a one- week workshop focusing on classroom presentations and skills such as organization, time management, and essay writing. It will include an introduction to all subject areas. The workshop is open to incoming ninth graders and is particularly recommended for students new to Country Day. A moderate amount of follow-up work outside of class will be required. There will be a presentation for parents on the last day, Friday, August 12th. Details will be sent home.
     
    Dates:  Monday, August 6 - Friday, August 10
    Time:  9:00 am - 2:00 p.m.
    Location: TBA (we will meet in the Country Day Living Room on the first day)
    Cost:  $250
    Lunch will be provided on the last day; students should bring their own lunches Monday - Thursday.
