Country Day is a Louisiana Green School!
Country Day's Elizabeth Lewis and Dom Graves entered the Louisiana Green School's yearly competition where schools are encouraged to undertake a green project "to make their school and/or communities a healthier place to live, learn, and grow." Country Day won first place for our beautiful butterfly garden, Monarch Bay at Country Day, and for the aquaponics lab. "These projects raise awareness of environmental stewardship, reduce waste, energy and/or water use, and create healthier spaces." Congratulations Dr. Lewis, Mr. Graves, Mrs. Odem, and students for all your hard work.
