Love is...

Check out our students' poems shared via The Bright Podcast! Click here!
Last week on NPR’s Morning Edition, author Kwame Alexander invited teachers to have their students respond to the prompt “Love is . . .” (Click here for NPR/Kwame Alexander.) Middle School English Teacher and Assistant Principal Kathy Brennan-Haug accepted Kwame Alexander’s invitation. Her students created short poems that were recorded and shared with Kwame Alexander and NPR. Middle and Upper School Librarian Chris Young now has the spoken content available on The Bright Podcast (Click here to visit The Bright Podcast.), so even if NPR doesn’t broadcast these touching, charming, delightful responses, The Bright Podcast will. The content can also be viewed visually, for Period 3 English click here and for Period 2 English click here.
