Last week on NPR’s Morning Edition, author Kwame Alexander invited teachers to have their students respond to the prompt “Love is . . .” (Click here for NPR/Kwame Alexander.) Middle School English Teacher and Assistant Principal Kathy Brennan-Haug accepted Kwame Alexander’s invitation. Her students created short poems that were recorded and shared with Kwame Alexander and NPR.
