  • Bones Found at Science and Engineering Construction Site

"Lower School, can you help us?" That was the plea from Head of School Carolyn Chandler earlier this week as she shared the discovery of "real" bones in soil excavated from the Science and Engineering construction site. That soil was then taken to a site on Falcon Road where lower school students will work to uncover additional fossils. Stay tuned as this exciting project continues to unfold.

Campus Enhancement Projects Overview

Metairie Park Country Day School has concluded an $11 million capital project to construct a new state-of-the-art Science and Engineering Building, renovate an existing building to create a new Art and Lower School Science Building, and expand and renovate the Coleman Family Dining Room. Waggonner and Ball Architects designed the new and revitalized spaces. These improvements result in a beautifully designed series of buildings along the Woodvine side of campus and are complete.
