Dear Parents,
Welcome to the 2019-2020 Parents’ Association Year! We have an exciting schedule of events lined up for you and are ready to engage and energize our school community. For a full list of dates for your calendar, please visit the Parents’ Association webpage at You can also find all sorts of helpful links there -from our Charleston Wrap Fundraiser and Boxtops Campaign instructions, to Concession Stand and Volunteer Sign-Up links, and the PA Boutique.

We kicked off our year by hosting the annual Ice Cream Social for New Families and Buddy Families. I'd like to give a giant thank you to Rania Khodr, the New Families Liaison, for a wonderful Ice Cream Social that was held right before school started. This is a Country Day tradition and Rania’s efforts made it a beautiful success. In addition to the Ice Cream Social, Rania can help answer questions new families may have and connect you with the right resources and departments within the school.

Our first open Board Meeting and Annual Volunteer Fair will be held on Wednesday, August 18th at 8:15 AM in Georges Art Gallery and Weinmann Auditorium. Please join us to hear exciting news about what’s in store for this school year and how you can participate! And, don’t miss our first Art Gallery Show Opening on August 29th at 6:00 PM. We would love for you to join us as we open this show featuring the works of parents and alumni. Light refreshments will be served.

Our events would not happen without the support of our Country Day family. Thank you in advance for all that you will do to make everything a success over the coming year. Your time and talents are greatly valued and appreciated.
