The Metairie Park Country Day Volleyball Team won its tenth straight LHSAA Division V Volleyball State Championship on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Cajundome in Lafayette.
The Metairie Park Country Day Volleyball Team won its tenth straight LHSAA Division V volleyball state championship on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at the Cajundome in Lafayette. The #1 seeded team defeated #3 Central Catholic 25-21, 25-10, 25-8 in the state final.
This victory secured the 16th State Championship for the Cajuns in 17 seasons.
Jade Washington '27 was named Most Outstanding Player, with 15 kills, two blocks, and nine digs during the match.
Thanks to the many students, faculty, staff, and parents who traveled to the Cajundome in Lafayette to cheer on the Cajuns, and congratulations to Head Coach Julie Ibieta, Assistant Coaches Dana Launey, Lauren Leaumont, and Myra Bordelon, and all of the members of the athletic department who helped make this victory possible.
