Girls' Track and Field Finishes 4th at Indoor Track State

The indoor track team competed at the LHSAA Division II Indoor Track State Meet in February 2025. LHSAA Division II is a competitive division that includes all schools 3A and under. 

The Girls' Team finished 4th overall, the highest-ever finish at Indoor Track State in school history. The 4x800 Relay Team ran under the previous state record, and as of February 2025, 8th-grader Coco Alvarado ranks as the 4th fastest 8th grader in the nation!

Boys' Indoor Track Results

  • 1600m: Christian Myers '25 finished 6th with a time of 4:41.82.

Girls' Indoor Track Results

  • Pole Vault: Peetsie Goldenberg '25 placed 5th, setting a new personal best height of 9' 0.5".
  • 4 x 800m Relay: Coco Goldenberg '25, Raine Goldenberg '25, Lily Galliano '29, and Coco Alvarado '29 finished 2nd with a time of 9:57.94, running under the previous State Record.
  • 4 x 400m Relay: Coco Goldenberg '25, Raine Goldenberg '25, Lily Galliano '29, and Coco Alvarado '29 finished in 5th place, with a time of 4:16.99. 
  • 1600m: Raine Goldenberg '25 finished 3rd with a time of 5:15.26; Coco Goldenberg '25 came in 9th with a time of 5:32.01.
  • 800m: Coco Alvarado '29 led most of the race, eventually finishing on the podium in 3rd with a time of 2:20.33. Coco's time ranks her as the 4th fastest 8th grader in the nation.
  • 3200m: Raine Goldenberg '25 scored more points for the team with a 4th-place finish of 11:41.63. Coco Goldenberg '25 ran her way into 7th place with a time of 12:03.64.
