Four Cajuns Set Records at Nike Indoor Nationals

In March 2025, four Country Day athletes competed at the Nike Indoor Nationals in New York City, setting new school records.

Girls' Championship 4x800m Relay: The team of Raine Goldenberg ’25, Coco Goldenberg ’25, Lily Galliano ’29, and Coco Alvarado ’29 secured a 12th-place finish with a school record time of 9:34.49. With this time, they broke their own record set earlier in the 2024-2025 season.

Girls' Emerging Elite 800m: Coco Alvarado ’29 finished 17th at 2:18.48. This performance shaved nearly a second off the previous school record of 2:19.43, set by Lane Porter '12 in 2012. Coco’s time ranks her as the 3rd fastest 8th grader in the nation this year and the fastest 8th grader in Louisiana indoor track history.
