Country Day's swim team rewrote three school records at the Chalmette meet on Wednesday, September 23
Harper Beezley '27 set new school records in the 200 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke — the fourth time this season he has lowered a Country Day record.
The boys 200 freestyle relay of Harper Beezley '27, Charlie Dowd '29, Kaelan MacLean '28, and Austin Singer '27 took nearly four seconds off the school record. Their winning time of 1:39.90 beat multiple Division I and Division II programs and stands as one of the fastest times in Louisiana this season.
The girls 400 freestyle relay of Caleigh Humphres '28, Izzy Grass '30, Sadie Wood '29, and Caroline Hawney '30 also finished first. Several additional Cajuns posted LHSAA state qualifying times.
