The Country Day Boys' Cross Country team took home State Championships on Monday, November 18, 2024. At mile two in the race, the eventual state champion, Christian Myers, '25, pulled ahead of a pack of six and never looked back. With this individual champion, a first for Country Day in Division IV Cross Country, and the hard running of six other runners, the team put two runners in the top ten and five in the top 17 to take home the State Championship.
Together, the boys' and girls' teams accomplished a first in school history: taking home two state championships in one day.
