On Thursday, March 14, 2024, Owen Marchal '25 had his signing ceremony as he committed to playing baseball at Centenary College of Louisiana in the fall. Owen is a recipient of Centenery's President's Scholarship, a merit-based scholarship, as well as being a baseball recruit. Owen's passion for the game has been evident since he was just 5 years old. Beyond playing, he has shared his skills by coaching 9-10-year-olds at Carrollton and has been mentored and coached for 13 years through NOCA, his travel team. Owen serves as team captain at Country Day, excelling as a left-handed pitcher, first baseman, and right fielder. Owen's dedication and talent have consistently earned him a spot on the all-district baseball team since his freshman year.
