The Metairie Park Country Day School chapter of the National Honor Society held its annual induction ceremony on Monday, September 15. Based on the four tenets of the National Honor Society, Scholarship, Leadership, Service, and Character, upper school students may apply for membership to the National Honor Society. Criteria for membership include a minimum 3.4 cumulative, unweighted GPA, completed service hour requirements per grade, exemplary standing in matters of honor and discipline, and enrollment in a prescribed number of honors/AP classes. This year’s leaders of the chapter are President Foster Woods ‘26, Vice President Porter Sinnott ‘26, and Secretary Charlie Stanonis ‘26.
The 2025-2026 inductees are: Charlie Bewley ‘28, Isabella Bezou ‘28, Madison Boustead ‘27, Timothy Brooks ‘28, Nayara de Silva-Ahmed ‘28, Avery Grace ‘28, Emmie Grace ‘28, Jojo Hereford ‘28, Cooper Higgins ‘28, Robert Hope ‘28, Oliver Humphrey-Lambeth ‘28, Mireille Luparello ‘26, Chase Knight ‘28, Cullen Ledet ‘28, Kaelan MacLean ‘28, Max Marsiglia ‘28, Malcolm Miley ‘27, Ella Nieto ‘28, Georgia Palmisano ‘28, Addie Richardson ‘28, Jackson Spruill ‘28, Charlie Stanonis ‘27, Luna Valobra ‘26, and Sev Ventola ‘28.
