Five Country Day seniors, Henry Breen, Coco Goldenberg, Clovis Layrisson, Christian Myers, and Oliver Parsi, have been named Semifinalists in the 70th National Merit Scholarship Program.
Over 1.3 million juniors from 21,000 high schools participated in the 2025 program by taking the 2023 PSAT. This recognition, awarded by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, honors the top PSAT scorers, representing less than one percent of U.S. high school seniors. These students are now eligible to continue in the competition for approximately 6,870 scholarships available in the spring.
In addition, two seniors are National Recognition Program qualifiers, having scored in the top 10% of test-takers in the state. Congratulations to Will Heath, National Hispanic Recognition Program, and Chloe Jones, National African American Recognition Program.
