Coach DuCarpe has been honored as the 2024 Girls’ High School Cross Country Coach of the Year for Louisiana by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
Under Coach DuCarpe's exceptional leadership, the team achieved remarkable success this season, securing both Division and State Championships while breaking multiple school records along the way.
The USTFCCCA High School Coach of the Year Award, sponsored by the United States Marine Corps, celebrates excellence in coaching at the state and national levels in cross country and track & field. Each year, one boys’ and one girls’ coach from all 50 states and the District of Columbia are selected as state winners. Two of this group of 102 honorees are ultimately named National Coaches of the Year.
