Girls' Tennis
The girls’ tennis program has a rich history, with state championships in 1990, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2008, and 2009. Under the dynamic leadership of Head Coach Buckner Heebe and assistant coach Chep Morrison, the girls' tennis team is also experiencing a comeback. The support of team coordinators Robyn Schwarz and Amanda Whalen has been instrumental in providing our athletes with the resources and opportunities they need to succeed. Together, this team of dedicated professionals is committed to fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and sportsmanship.
The team finished second at Regionals in 2023 and 2024. The 2024 season was particularly remarkable, as all players qualified for the State Championships.
At State, the girls were led by the doubles team of Evelyn Rivas '24 and Bea Schwarz '26, who reached the semi-finals. Their performance was a testament to the strength and potential of our program.
