Girls' Cross Country
The girls’ cross-country program is a shining example of how sports can shape young lives, build strong communities, and foster a sense of achievement that extends beyond the racecourse. Under the inspiring leadership of Head Coach Maurice DuCarpe, our athletes train during rigorous practice sessions that promote personal growth and foster team unity. In addition to a physical training ground, our program is where lifelong friendships and enduring values are forged.
The girls’ cross-country team’s success is well-documented, with state championships achieved in 1985, 1986, 1988, 1991, 2011, 2014, and 2019. In recent years, the program has consistently demonstrated excellence, achieving multiple state and runner-up championships in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Our teams have placed multiple runners in the top 25 statewide and ranked in the top 11-15 amongst all classes, showcasing the exceptional talent and dedication within our ranks.
The 2023-24 season was another testament to our girls’ program’s strength and dedication. The team finished 2nd in the state and 3rd in the region, with several standout performances. Notable achievements include Raine Goldenberg '25, Coco Goldenberg '25, Stella Fuselier '29, Greer Bouza '25, and Louise Stewart '29, who were all named to the All-Regional Team. These individual accomplishments highlight the depth of talent and hard work that characterize our program.
