Boys' Golf
The Boys’ Golf Program has demonstrated excellence, with a legacy of state championships and individual accolades that reflect our commitment to both athletic and personal development. Our program’s history is marked by state championships in 1994, 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2005, and notable individual achievements such as 4th place in 2016, 7th in 2017, 6th in 2018, and an impressive 8th place individual finish in 2019.
Led by Head Coach Doug Gordon, the team focuses on the holistic development of each student-athlete. Coach Gordon’s expertise and dedication have been pivotal in creating a nurturing environment where players can thrive. His approach combines rigorous training with a strong emphasis on personal growth, ensuring that our athletes excel both on and off the course. We focus on balanced, customized training programs that meet the unique needs of each player. By addressing individual strengths and areas for improvement, we help our athletes develop their golfing skills and foster personal growth.
In recent years, the Boys' Golf Team has continued building on its legacy, with numerous accolades and achievements highlighting our commitment to excellence. The 2023-24 season saw our athletes achieving remarkable milestones, showcasing their talent and dedication. This resulted in our team placing 2nd in the District and 6th in Regional competitions, as well as one athlete, Tullis Gambel '24, qualifying for the State Championships.
