Boys' Cross Country
Through its commitment to excellence, community, and personal growth, the boys’ cross-country program seeks to not only raise the bar in athletic achievement but also shape the leaders of tomorrow. Our athletes leave the program with more than just medals and titles; they carry with them the values of teamwork, perseverance, and a deep sense of community that will serve them throughout their lives.
Under the leadership of Head Coach Maurice DuCarpe, our program fosters both rigorous practice and team bonding. This environment nurtures not only their physical capabilities but also their sense of camaraderie and resilience.
Our program's success is evident in its impressive list of accolades, including state championships in 1991, 1993, 1994, 2009, 2010, 2020, 2021, and 2023. In recent years, the boys’ cross-country team has achieved multiple state and state runner-up championships in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023. Our runners consistently place in the top 25 statewide, and as a team, we rank among the top 11-15 across all classes. This level of achievement speaks to our athletes’ effort and our coaches’ investment.
In the 2023-24 season, the boys’ team secured first place in both the state and regional competitions. Notable individual achievements include Christian Myers ’25 and Harry Odem ’25, who both placed in the Division IV Top Ten. Additionally, Christian Myers ’25, Harry Odem ’25, Mason Zink ’26, and Charlie Kazour ’25 were named to the All-Regional Team, showcasing the depth of talent within our ranks.
