Country Day's admission process for the 2021-2022 school year has been updated, and we will continue to follow best practices for on-campus visits and tours based on guidance from our local health partners in order to ensure the safety and health of our community.
We are happy you are interested in Metairie Park Country Day School. Our admission staff strives to make your application process both informative and enjoyable. We work collaboratively with all families in order to provide a full understanding of our School and educational philosophy. So that you may truly appreciate the strength of our community and student life, Country Day encourages you to take a sign up for an information session and campus tour - either virtual or in-person. Tours & Visits

Sign up for a Virtual Information Session or Open House
In the fall and in January we offer grade level and/or division level Open Houses. We will also offer some virtual information sessions during the year where a member of our admission staff will guide you through a presentation that gives you the information typically shared on a campus tour. Please see the calendar on this page to register for one of these events.

Sign up for an On-Campus Visit
For lower school (Grades PK-5), parents who are not familiar with Country Day's campus are encouraged to come tour and children will be required to come for an assessment which may include a classroom visit. Once your child has applied, you can schedule their assessment through the candidate's applicant checklist. You can also schedule by calling the admission office at (504) 849-3110.

Prospective middle and upper school students and their parents will be invited to participate in a tour and/or student spend-a-day.  Once you've filled out an online inquiry form or application to Country Day, you can schedule these visits through the candidate's checklist.
