  • CajunCare Mornings

CajunCare Mornings will be offered beginning at 7:15 am, Monday – Friday, free of charge. No registration is required. All lower school students dropped off between 7:15 am – 7:45 am should be checked in to the Lower School Atrium, where they may partake in supervised, quiet activities such as reading or drawing. To ensure the safety of our students, we are asking that a parent or guardian sign for their child. If a student has an older sibling that they come to school with, the older sibling may sign in for the younger student. The atrium doors facing the playground will remain locked until 7:45 am.
**The first day of CajunCare Mornings will take place on Monday, August 19, 2019.
  • CajunCare Afternoons

    CajunCare Afternoons (Formerly Aftercare)
CajunCare Afternoons offer lower school students safe, enjoyable, supervised play from the end of the school day until 6:00pm, every day. A snack is provided daily. Parents of children in Pre-K and Kindergarten will pick up at PMK, and parents of children in grades 1-5 will pick up their children on the lower school playground or in the atrium. Advanced enrollment is required; however, “drop-ins” are accepted in case of emergency or with prior permission. In the event of an emergency or last-minute drop-in, please notify Kelsey Beahm in the Lower School Office so she can inform your child and your child’s teacher of their dismissal change. If a student is not picked up by 3:45pm, they will automatically be checked in to CajunCare Afternoons until their parents arrive.

**Students are automatically registered in CajunCare Afternoons for the days notated on their Student Dismissal Form completed through CD Connect**.

Note for Wednesdays only: Wednesday dismissal begins at 2:30pm for all students due to a new Faculty Professional Development Program. All lower school students may participate in CajunCare free of charge from 2:30pm – 3:30pm. All students (Pre-K to 5) may be picked up on Wednesdays during 2:30pm carpool, or they may go to CajunCare Afternoons for the standard charge (beginning at 3:30pm). There will be no 3:00pm carpool on Wednesdays for Pre-K and Kindergarten.
