    2017 - 2018
    Head Coach: Brittany Whitsell

Country Day’s Cheerleading program consists of three squads: the Red, the White, and the Blue. They cheer for football, volleyball, and basketball. The squads also come out to support cross country, soccer, softball, baseball, tennis, and track and field.

Every week the team practice cheers, stunts, and dances. They design, create, and hang spirit signs throughout campus.
In addition to their performance at opening assembly and their high-energy pep rally at homecoming, the cheerleaders host mini pep rallies throughout the year during little lunch and perform at half-time during football and basketball games. Cheerleaders must retain a passing average, commit to cheering in the fall, winter, and spring, attend evaluations in April, attend camp in August, and be able to keep up with a rigorous work out program that includes learning various choreography, stunts, and jumps. While it is not required tumbling is encouraged.
