Congratulations to the four juniors who completed the Greater New Orleans National Council on Youth Leadership conference at Tulane University on February 29, March 2, and March 16. Trey Lowenthal, Lindsay Rosenblum, Elliott Slater, and Alli Treen all received certificates at the 7th Annual Youth Salute on March 16. Special congratulations go to
Trey Lowenthal, who received one of four $500 Youth Leadership Awards.

One hundred sixteen students from 14 schools participated in the program. Two outstanding Youth Leaders were honored and four students received Youth Leadership Awards. All six will attend The National Town Meeting on Tomorrow hosted by Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, from October 18-21, 2008. Two alternates were chosen as well.
