At Country Day, we strive to accept students who we feel can be successful in our challenging academic program and who can also become contributing members of our community. We are searching for a diverse group of students with varied abilities and talents.

Submitting your application is not necessary before visiting Country Day. If you would like to visit our campus and learn more about our programs, we are happy to give you a tour without an application.

The number of students on our waiting lists varies from grade to grade. At all grade levels we keep our waiting lists realistically small. When a space becomes available we reconsider those on the waiting list to determine which student would best complement the grade.

Our Kindergarten decisions are made in mid-March each year and it is therefore most beneficial for families to have their child's file complete by the end of February. Scheduling the educational testing required in the admission process and receiving the evaluation can be difficult to schedule at the last minute. We recommend that you begin this process during the fall to be sure you can get a timely appointment.

Decision letters are mailed in mid-February for our grade one to grade five applicants and it is therefore most beneficial for families to have their child's file complete by mid-January.
