There are about 15,000 species of my kind of insect, but my special family consists of only about 2 species world wide.
Tuesday:
I am a butterfly, but like some birds, I migrate south to Mexico for the winter.
Wednesday:
The plant that I feed on is poisonouse and distasteful, so birds usually avoid me.
Thursday:
I feed on milkweed and my caterpillar is soft and non-stinging. It has stripes of yellow, black and white.
Friday:
My crhrysalis is pale green, with gold-colored beads. It looks like a jewel as it hangs from the undersides of leaves.
