CFO Minihan is distinguished recipient of NBOA's Will J. Hancock Award

Brendan Minihan, Sr., Metairie Park Country Day School’s Chief Financial Officer, has been presented the Will J. Hancock award by the National Business Officers Association (NBOA). The award honors business officers “who have made a profound difference at their schools,” and “whose work has changed their school’s community dramatically.”


Cum Laude Society elects Faculty Members

Congratulations to Marigny Dupuy and Brad Philipson who were recently elected to the Cum Laude Society. Marigny Dupuy, Class of 1965, was appointed to the faculty in 1996 and currently teaches fifth grade. In addition to serving as assistant principal of the Upper School, Brad Philipson teaches English, is a sponsor of the senior class, and is the coordinator of community service. He joined the Country Day faculty in 2003.

The criteria for faculty membership are:
  • The individual will have received outstanding scholarly recognition, such as, a fellowship or an academic or educational award; or will have made an outstanding scholarly contribution, such as, a publication; or
  • The individual will have made a distinguished contribution to the academic life or to the prestige of the school.
  • The individual holds membership in Cum Laude, having been elected as a faculty member from a participating school.
