Eighth Grade Trip
In March of every year, our 8th graders explore Black Creek on canoes on a three-day, two-night adventure. Black Creek is located in the De Soto National Forest, near Wiggins, MS. Byron Almquist, a trip leader and outfitter with over twenty years’ experience with Canoe and Trail Adventures, is our guide. Outdoor education is an important part of our curriculum here at Country Day.
